Yes, he is a friend of him. We started a friendship as well (he wanted to publish my Peckinpah book & film in Japan) but his health I'm afraid is not the best these days.

You mean Katsumi Ishikuma? Cox mentions him in his Spaghetti Western book. That's sad to hear about his health.

Does this also mean your revised and updated Peckinpah book in Japanese is not going to happen?  Sad I was looking forward to that.

Don't looks like it.
Meantime PASSION & POETRY plays in Japanese theaters. They even printed a souvenir brochure & T-shirts (!).
